Sarabia isn't skillful.Sounds like Sarabia
I beg to differ, his corners/free kicks were almost always on the money, his goals against United and Spurs things of beauty.Sarabia isn't skillful.
Really? That’s just sillySarabia isn't skillful.
Not really. Sarabia is extremely skillful, guile, flair, creative. Just the physicality of a gnat.I beg to differ, his corners/free kicks were almost always on the money, his goals against United and Spurs things of beauty.
Depends on your interpretation of skillful I suppose.
Know nothing about him, but all well and good buying project players, you still need a couple of ready made players as well. His numbers don't look particularly great, so presuming he's more of an R Gomes style project than a nailed on for the first XI 'Cunha replacement'?
So your view of skillful is basically Adama?I'm talking about dribbling skill and ability to beat a man using quick feet.
So you don't think quality on the ball is skill? Not really. Sarabia is extremely skillful, guile, flair, creative. Just the physicality of a gnat.
Unless you’re counting how many step overs you do or cruyff turns?
I've always considered Sarabia a technical and skilful player? Struggled for consistency and to influence regularly, but definitely has plenty of ability. Really enjoyed a lot of his creative passing, just didn't show it enough.

Don't think there was any lack of effort, just came up short in the pace and physicality dept.If he can be arsed, which I think is a great part of the problem
Agree. Although there were times when effort was an issue they were no more than others and often GON explicable. The lack of effort trope is a slightly lazy misinterpretation IMO. Physicality was an issue.Don't think there was any lack of effort, just came up short in the pace and physicality dept.
