The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

My optimistic hope for Wolves is that we become the English equivalent of Sevilla during their Europa league winning period. Second club in their city, they built the model around regular sales but were smart enough with managerial appointments and recruitment to come, if not from nowhere, then out of the masses to have a meaningful character and trophy aspirations within a structure that, while obviously different, locks in aspiration in an even more rigid way.

Sounds promising...
Getting a little bit excited after reading that - hopefully he doesn’t stagnate on our bench.

Seen some concerned chatter online that he's 'Fabio II', based mainly on his first team appearances v cost, hopefully he's a genuine signing rather than some kind of shenanigan. Reaction of their fans and a couple of articles I've seen give me hope

I know for certain his quality/value is gunna be somewhere between Fabio and Neto.

Judging by his highlights reel from last season, compared to Fabio, he can beat a man, shoot from distance , create opportunities for others and has an eye for a quick pass. Fabio on the other hand has a bigger bank balance and curly locks if thats what floats your boat.

Good article but some strange comments from his former coach.

"I remember trying to get him to do volleys into a basketball net in a thunderstorm, which I thought would be hard. He got them all in so I switched it for a netball post so there was no backboard and he still did it."

"And that obsession with nutmegs. He would constantly nutmeg you with the leaves that we would walk past."

Sounds like we're signing David Blaine.

The coach sounds as truthful as Trump. Do it once and it goes viral, repeatedly and you’re more famous than Messi
