More likely just breaking ties by getting rid of his old shirts…Id find it a bit odd for him to do that if he was leaving
Oh look, some straws!
Taking flippant comments too seriously!Reading a bit to much into a simple gesture
We’re a bit fucked if this happens this summer, so hopefully not! Think him and Joao Gomes are the big sales next summer though so we could do with a bit of a succession plan.
I’m pretty relaxed. I’ve slept on the hypothesis that we can sell a greater number of more experienced players than we sign and magically be no worse off. Old gold alchemy. Back to the TdF and roll on August. We’re a bit fucked if this happens this summer, so hopefully not! Succession planning would be great but we have more immediate needs. Maybe January if we’re lucky. We’re a bit fucked if this happens this summer, so hopefully not! Think him and Joao Gomes are the big sales next summer though so we could do with a bit of a succession plan.

Well, it’ll be a lot of fun to watch, but I wouldn’t expect many clean sheets!
If we assume that Yerson can get back to what he was pre-injury, him paired with Roddy actually makes a lot of sense to me. Certainly it will make it less of an issue when Roddy gets forward to have Yerson covering that channel rather than Santi (who still don't think is that bad but does turn like Berra).View attachment 14244

André, Toti, Agbadou, and Mosquera looks a really solid foundation to me. Would be even better if we could get a less mercurial GK in, too (though that position wouldn't be my top priority).
I’d prefer to replace him, just far more concerned with getting the wingbacks right. Sá probably saves us as many points as he loses us, which is annoying to watch but comes out in the wash. Imagine if we had sold Sá last summer and ended up stuck with Johnstone all year. Woof.
As long as it's not a no obligation loan, would be absolutely all over that.
Not selling him is as annoying as when we didn't take the deal for Joe Mason (was that from Bristol? Think it was)
€25m IIRC.A reminder that we turned down €20M for Hwang from Marseille only 12 months ago
