The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

Heck of a hair stylist

Yeah seems likely. At an age (along with the fee) where you’d expect him to contribute straight away too. I’d still want another forward (maybe Yan is the one we want)

Depending on who else leaves (Hwang/Guedes), how we profile Bellegarde & Munetsi going forward and how highly we actually rate Mateus Mané we might actually need 2 or 3 more.

It's why we've got a real opportunity to build a special team now if the scouting and investment is right (big IF I know). When teams like Wolves lose a player like Cunha the talk is always about replacing his contribution in the aggregate but that's hard when you've only got one space to fill. With the exception of Strand Larsen we might have a whole new forward line next season which we can build completely to Vítor's liking.

Think luckily for us Andre's performances have gone a bit under the radar by the big clubs. I guess it's the nature of his position and style that means he doesn't often get rave reviews by the media.

Pretty much from when Vitor took over that we saw the best from Andre as Gary O'Gonk couldn't figure out how to get him in the side...🙄

No chance he's gone under the radar at the big clubs. They aren't choosing their targets based on Match of the Day highlights

Obviously they don't choose the targets like that. 'Under the radar' is relative of course.
I'd have expected some of the big clubs to be interested in this window given his performances last season, that's under the radar for me, it could of course be my Wolves bias.

I’m surprised we seem to be retaining Joao this summer. He’d look brilliant in so many of the top five/six midfielders.
He and André are probably in a similar position to Neves in that way; brilliant at what they do but lacking the sexiness of consistent goal contributions. IMO.

That doesn’t mean I’m saying other clubs are correct to not be pursuing them both (André has had a rumor or two IIRC but nothing beyond social media bluster).

He's been amazing so i'd think he's on a number of short-lists. They'll watch him again this season and if he hits the heights then we'll starting getting offers.

The Juventus thing is probably agent talk anyway.
