The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

Tbf he's writing his opinion and posting it on a public forum, it's not something any of us are exactly shy about doing. Admittedly the monetisation aspect of Twitter can encourage faux outrage, but I don't think anybody needs to fake hating Jeff Shit,
Yeah but the faux cryptic tweet is just embarrassing isn’t it, I think that’s what people have taken issue with

The difference is that he always presents himself as if he was some kind of Wolves journalist. Those Talking Wolves kids do it as well, even their cadence when they're doing a podcast, it's like they're playing make-believe at being SkySports News hosts.

It is.

Off the back of the wages thing to make it out that Shi had destroyed the deal

On the wages thing. Looking around last night and it appears the lower wages thing has come from a story that he rejected a mega move to Saudi, with mental wages and the report said "his dream is to play in the Premier League and would even take a pay cut to make it happen"

From that numerous places have gone with he has accepted lower wages from Wolves. Varying reports on what he earns now etc but every report is essentially guess work taken from the Saudi story.

I'd take that. It was always a long shot to get anyone to buy outright given what he's costing us every year, you'd probably have to get someone to pay £10M+ for us to not make a loss on PSR.

This way we get his wages off the bill for this season and hopefully they pay for him next year.

One from earlier in the window. Omari Hutchinson had a £35M release clause which has now expired and Ipswich want to keep him. Brentford were the only team to bid £35M but the bid didn't match the structure agreed in his contract.

I like Hutchinson and it would've been good to see him in a Wolves shirt but at those prices I'm glad we're not interested.

What? A team other than Wolves fucked around on a transfer and missed out. Can you double check that please.

We could get El Khannouss for €10m less and I think he's a better player.

Not a clue if he gets paid for his X interactions but he is part of a podcast and presume high number of interactions keeps him relevant for that and media outlets wanting his opinion on Wolves
Are the likes of Talking Wolves monetised on Twitter? Here's me working 9-5, when I could be making a living just retweeting transfer rumours. Funny world we live in.

We couldn't give him away for free a year ago and then amazingly enough he had an awful season.

Just get him gone as I never ever want to watch him again.

Sure, but it won’t be much because it’s really a very small account. They will make far more off YouTube.

Those whose follower numbers are in the tens of millions, and who help push far-right narratives for Musk will earn good money though.
