The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

Dont get over excited as this one feels like the Pubill transfer attempt.

On one hand great to see us targeting players the big boys in Europe are after but on t'other its bastard hard to get them over the line

Juanlu made 4 goals and 4 assist on 1724 mins. on First división. 21 Years old, and international sub21.

Pubill made 1 goal and 4 assist on 2824 on second división. 22 Years old and international sub21 too.

Juanlu are more ofensive, he play on RW and RWB,
Pubill its more defensive and tall player. 1,90 vs 1,86.

I view more proyection on Juanlu, all big teams like ofensife RWB forwards like RAN for example.

Feels like the Pubill transfer = Made up by agent and Napoli will come in and sign him

Well that’s not what I wanted to hear

Its because he play on RWB and RW, he look have good project. Because the good ofensive RWB are top in transfer markets. If he made a good seasson are sell buy he for 50M.

But for experience i like more El Hilali from espanyol. Not are a lot ofensive like Juanlu, but he look good and help one returned team on first división stand on it.

Doesn't Mendes have Sevilla links? Can't he do us a solid on this one? Or is it him who's stirring shit up? 😅

Navas was always a bit of a pace merchant IMO. Was meant as purposefully OTT, tho.

Its similiar on playstyle but its more taller (1,7 Navas vs 1,86 Juanlu), he its young its possible work more on defense, and improve a lot on im.

Navas with that 1,7 no have that capacity to improve on defense.

Marca say about Wolves and Juanlu:

Wolves Overtake Napoli in the Race for Juanlu

Matteo Moretto reports that there has been an unexpected twist in Juanlu's situation. When it seemed all but certain that the player would head to Napoli, in recent hours, Wolverhampton has entered the race, taking the lead after holding positive talks with Sevilla. The Wolves have come very close to meeting Sevilla's demands for him (€17-18 million) in the last few hours. However, Napoli is still in the race and has an agreement with the player, but not with the Spanish club: there is a €3 million difference between Sevilla and Napoli.

But only repply the post of Matteo Moretto, seem a tactic to Napoles pay that 3 millons.

Or translate it and post it in English please.

One month ago Sevilla asked for Fabio Silva.

Sevilla FC Knows the Price of Fabio Silva

After the departure of Monchi and the arrival and presentation of Víctor Orta, Sevilla FC officially begins its transfer market with a lot of work ahead. In addition to managing player departures and the return of loaned players, the new sporting director will also have to focus on bringing in new players for the first team. Despite securing a UEFA Champions League spot after winning the Europa League, Pepe Castro and Del Nido Jr are aware that the team has its weaknesses and will aim to improve it for the upcoming season. With this in mind, the club has shown interest in Fabio Silva, the Wolves forward, whose price is now known.

Sevilla FC Faces Competition
The team, led by José Luis Mendilibar, ended the season with good goal-scoring figures, thanks to the performances of Youssef En-Nesyri. Despite this, the club sees their main competitor, Rafa Mir, lagging behind, and has considered Fabio Silva to provide competition and boost the team's goal tally. However, signing the Portuguese forward in this transfer window will not be easy. According to journalist Liam Keen from Express and Star, Ajax, Roma, AC Milan, and Galatasaray are also interested in the Wolves player. Furthermore, Spanish newspaper Marca reports that Real Betis has also recently shown interest in the player's situation.

Fabio Silva's Career
Fabio Silva began his career at Porto, where he shone and caught the attention of international scouts at a very young age. In 2019, he made the move to Porto's first team. Following his impressive performances, Wolves signed the player, who was a target for Sevilla FC, in the 2020 transfer window for €40 million. After 54 appearances with the English side, Fabio decided to leave in search of more playing time and to regain the form he couldn't showcase in the Premier League. As a result, he moved to Belgium at the start of last season, where he had strong performances and scored 11 goals. His success in Belgium caught the attention of PSV, who took him on loan, and in the Netherlands, the forward scored 5 goals in 19 appearances.

The Price of Fabio Silva and Jorge Mendes' Role
Sevilla FC's interest in signing Fabio Silva is not a new development, as the forward was one of Monchi's targets while he was at the club. However, José Luis Mendilibar’s side will find it difficult to sign the Wolves striker. According to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, the English club has set a price for the player, which is €25 million. This value is due to his strong season with PSV, where he scored 16 goals.

However, the price set by Wolves is not the only challenge Sevilla FC would face in this transfer window. Another hurdle is Fabio Silva’s agent, Jorge Mendes. The Portuguese striker arrived in England for €40 million, despite having a release clause of just €10 million. This is why Porto's president praised him, stating: “He is a good representative for Porto. Fabio Silva had a €10 million clause and left for €40 million. Porto made €20 million, as they received €30 million instead of €10 million. Several agencies were involved, and 25% went in commissions. Strange? It was a great deal, and Mendes played an important role.”
