The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

The fuck is your issue?

Parkinson is a hoofball merchant who will always play an experienced player over a kid on loan. Why has that got you so worked up.
As an 8+ year season ticket holder at Wrexham (just can't get to Molineux anymore at my age) you are wrong on every count. To say they play hoof ball is just plain silly / populist. You don't achieve what they have being that one dimensional. There are some very promising young players established in the first team and to think that Lima couldn't replace Longman or Barnett at RWB shows that you dont really know what you're talking about. not that it really matters on a Wolves forum!

Never known such an impassioned defence of Phil fucking Parkinson. 🤣

There are loads of clubs better suited to a loan for Lima than Wrexham.

I'm happy we appear to be casting the net further afield in recent windows.

As good as the Portuguese signings have been (particularly early on) it was wrong to ignore other areas.

Obviously there is risk in all signings, but Möller Wolfe is full of promise, a great age and seems to be exactly what Vitor wants.

Romano really needs to stop using Wolves to help other clubs get over the line
I think that's unfair on Romano. He just reports what he's told, I don't think he responsible for the rumour, that's down to the agents I would imagine.

Granted, Romano probably realises it's BS, but he can only report what he hears.

He doesn't have to report everything he is told like some kind of lap dog though. He does have independent thought.

He knows what he is though, help agents get their clients the moves they actually want by pumping out half truths and you get some tid bits of actual info over time.

I'm not keen on him, thought he originally made his name on being a much more reliable football journo? He's turning into just another transfer rumour merchant peddling stories on the behalf of agents and players wanting a move. Doesn't necessarily apply to the forum but I don't get why so many football fans put him on a pedestal.

It seems great value based on some of the thinking and reports. Would have preferred it several weeks ago but then may not have been first choice target.

If Mosquera isn’t fit (or if he’s had a setback even) I’d quite like another centre back

Toti definitely needs some competition on the left.

If/when Johnstone goes we definitely need another keeper IMO. Bentley is nowhere near good enough and if he's out #2 he'll definitely end up playing as Sá will always miss random games.

I know people aren't keen on them, but feels like a loan would be smart for CB closer to the actual close of the window depending on who is available.

Yeah with Djiga on loan for the season too I don’t think that’s a bad shout.

Agreed

Josh Acheampong would be a good loan move if Chelsea sign Jorrel Hato
