The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

On creativity; we ended the season three months ago with a relegation-battling team, and we've since lost most of our creativity even from that.

Regardless of Hobbs ->Teti and the market, what was the plan? Why were our first two signings right wingers? Why were two of our first three signings mates of our unsettled striker? Why is Toti captain when we're about to splash £30m on his replacement? What is the aim for this season and what kind of team are we? How are we intending to score goals and win games?

Guess we'll be spending the next couple of months working that out along with the team, live in games! You'd think we lost our manager in July and have only just brought a new guy in

I'm not sure about all the Uche to Milan stories. The club president literally came out yesterday and said he's having a medical 'somewhere' today and that psr is forcing the sale.

Is Wissa not supposed to be going to Newcastle - not in Brentfords squad these times .

Or are they looking for two strikers ?

They won't pay the £60m price tag for him.

Offered £40m and hoping Wissa doing an Isak will force Brentford to accept.

They're describing JSL as the "Wilson replacement", but I suspect that's just to piss off Liverpool fans who think that them getting JSL will start the domino effect of Isak moving on.

If we adamantly made our position clear i.e. he is NOT FOR SALE under any circumstances, then I'm not quite sure why they're coming back with another offer? My feeling is they've had a nod or some sort of encouragement, be it from JSL himself, his agent or even from the hierarchy at Wolves that if they hit a certain price, we will indeed sell him. Either that or it's designed to unsettle the player - which is ironic given how upset they're getting with Liverpool doing the same with Isak.

For me, I think there's too much smoke to not have any fire - and he'll go this week. Probably in the last couple of days of the window. What's Diego Costa up to these days?
