Expecting someone to not want to pursue a better job offer is unrealistic. Particularly when we all say how shit it is at Wolves!

He’s not looking for an out, it’s being offered to him. Anyway, ignoring semantics. He’s said he’d be interested in joining Newcastle, seems a natural reaction for anyone with a brain tbh. It seems you have it in your head that he’s now unhappy here, downing tools, trying to leave, whatever. There is zero evidence of that, if anything the opposite after a good appearance two days ago. How much it would fuck us over is also irrelevant to him, but even if it was it only would if he downed tools, which he hasn’t. So your stance seems purely based on things that categorically haven’t happened but also a glass empty stance (not even half empty) but are then surprised you are disagreed with? So now I understand what you’re saying and I understand why it seemed stupid, because it’s based on something that hasn’t happened, no sign of happening and the wrong end of the stick.
