A bit of media training should have ensured that he wasn’t disrespectful to his parent club whilst loan trotting around Europe. He was disrespectful, tried to make on we were holding him against his will, whilst we were subsidising his loans and continually lining his (and allegedly his fathers) pocket to an outrageous degree.
I get that he’s young and sometimes things don’t turn out like we’d want for both parties but he’s behaved like a knob and angered the fan base that partly contributed to him being a millionaire.
I’d have wished him well on his way if he has behaved courteously during his time here but all I’m left is a sense of relief that the losses on him aren’t as huge as once seemed likely.
