Welcome to Wolves Diogo Jota

He has already signed. Just the contract has a start date of 1/7/18

So we don't have to get permission off the Portuguese stock market first, then? ;)

(I know he's signing from Spain but allow me my little, out of date joke)

Oh Alan - that is very good Wolves forum knowledge. I applaud your efforts.

Jota, Neves and Boly are very, very good players, if just Costa get that final quality back when he scored opportunities..guess its down to confidence and maybe trying too hard to convince Nuno when he get the chance..

Every player has a dip in form in a long season..also think Jota has been a bit fatigued over the christmas period and a bit in january..but bringing in Mir and Afobe should help our situation going forward..I think we will achieve promotion no doubt..always good with options

Plenty of compilation clips of our goals this season - would be interesting to see a compilation of the fouls on Jota. Must be the most fouled player in the Champo by some distance - and that's before we go to Cardiff...

I don't think I'd even play him at Cardiff. We've won the league anyway and we could rest 4/5 and still get a result so fuck them, let's not give them the honour of our full side.

He needs to work on his celebrations, IMO.

I love his little aggressive arm wobbling walk thing :)

If you did what the Sheff Utd goalkeeper did to him to someone on a Saturday night you'd be charged with assault. Disgraceful challenge. And he's had to put up with being targeted all season long. I've got total respect for him for that as much as for his brilliance.

I'm starting to think he's indestructible, countless bad challenges over the course of the season (would make an interesting montage!) yet each time he dusts himself down and gets on with it.

Yesterday's challenge was madness glad he's OK. I have a feeling he will be better in the Prem with teams being more open and less physical could be the same for Neves.

It was like Schumacher v Batiston. And Diogo got up from it. He must be made of steel.

I was so pleased for him on Saturday - I have found it very frustrating how quickly some people have been to write him off, but it does look like he's getting back to his best. I also noticed him getting stuck in after being nobbled a few times early on - very much like the Jota of last season.

One of the first names on the team sheet on current form and I think he's the player who gets the best out of Raul too (who was also outstanding v Leicester and deserved a goal himself).
