Is it a formation issue that five of them didn’t stop Lingard?

No. It's a mentality issue and a big one. We're weak, naive and badly set up without the ball. Trouble is with a back 3,4 or 5 there's different issues but all come back to the set up and the mentality without the ball.

We've looked lots better with the ball tonight but when we haven't got it it's unforgivable.

we just look so panicky out of possession. The work with the ball is largely very good, honestly. Donck/Neves not positioned well enough at all and Coady/Saiss can’t defend those spaces.
