It was probably 10-15cm. Too close for the naked eye to see and incredibly tight.

I'd rather that than him being behind it and missing the chance altogether.

yes it was a toe nail offside but those 3 & half minute checks take the absolute piss. The automated offside system should be looked at being introduced to reduce the delay

Until the last few minutes one of the really disappointing things is that we’ve played four poor teams who haven’t looked any good at all, organised and not much more, and we’ve been so, so passive. Something from these last 30 mins to take in to three Christmas games would be nice.
