Lage said we have had 2 weeks to sort out what went wrong at palace and learn from it. Obviously not.

I really have to stop using these threads. You’d think we were down by 2 already!

Get Adama on at HT if this continues for Pod

Podence has had a mare so far. A terrible 20 minutes from him.

Neves and Moutinho are afraid to push on (aren’t they always?!) because the advanced West Ham midfielders/wingers are dropping in to the space between them and the defence, so when we get the ball we’re trying to get it to Hwang, Raul or Podence - but they’re miles away from each other - so we end up giving up possession.

Until we can play 4 at the back and get a player ahead of Neves/Moutinho who can link the play with the advanced players, this is going to be a familiar story.

RAN has hit the first man three times out of three . Podence has not completed a pass to a teammate so far. Otherwise in the back and middle it’s ok.
4 in 4

Lingard please ;)

how many passes has he gotten wrong now?

Gap between Coady and Raúl noticeably compressed as compared to the Palace game. We look in control for the time being.

That’s a weird handball. Not sure what the right call would be.
