Even though I know the result - looking forward to watching this (quite like to rewatch the full next 4 - 3 we did against them as well)
 
Early observation is that Micky Adams had a MASSIVE bench coat.

I defy anyone to watch this and then tell me that Denis Irwin was good for Wolves.
 
My God we played NO football from the back. So glaring to watch now all these years later. I know we were lacking quality but come on.
 
I'd be amazed if we conceded that kind of goal today. No proper marking, header from a fair way out nowhere near the corner, goal.

Noticeable that we didn't trust the pitch given how much the ball is in the air

Didn't trust anyone on the ball more like. We were still shellshocked from losing 1-9 in our first two games.

Another appalling goal to give away.
 
Denis Irwin was what 37, 38 here? I'm older than that and I hope I don't run like that, he looks like a proper old man.

Possibly the most overrated Wolves player of the last 20 years. Him or Milijas.

That's actually a good hit from Scimeca. But again. Irwin. Can't get off the ground.

Meh, right backs drop in crosses like that all the time. Ten a penny. Maurice Dross could have done that.

I prefer blokes where when they jump, you actually can get the Express and Star under their feet.
 
We don't look that bad considering but Leicester do look better all over the park.

Nice finish Cams. Not his biggest fan as a player but that was what he was good for.

Kachloul is definitely not as good as I remember him being!
 
The game was a bit more physical back then, the ref has let a lot go
 
I didn't especially enjoy that. Rae is hilarious, obviously we made the comeback but I can't say we really played well to do it? There wasn't much of a pattern of play. And we really were awful at points.

Oh and if Mikey Burrows could stop mocking Steffen Iversen. There wasn't anything wrong with him other than he wasn't anything like fit when we lamped him in the team to start with. He was a damn good player.
