Brentford (A) Match thread - positive comments only!

Saville wins possession and advancing and accelerating passes forward to Weimann who back heels it to.... no one. Didn't come off.
Crowd already made up of many plain faces, starting to turn ugly and Brentford feeling the pressure.

Another long range effort, this time on target, is palmed down by the keeper who needed 2 attempts to get that.

Shite defending and a goal down

We've been on top but Brentford have looked good on the ball in our half and Batth was turned very easily for that goal. Well worked goal though. We look bereft of creativity.

Good goal but Saville failed to track his man.

Leics go 1 up. Good.
Costa gets a gorgeous ball from Lee Evans but his cross comes to nothing...
More pressure from Wolves...
We now have as possession.... 51%

Brentford take the lead in the wide open left side.
Didn't track the runner, ran between the 2 centre halves with the crowd rising to a crescendo and Colin unmarked strikes a sweet shot along the ground past a dumbstruck Ikeme into the far bottom corner.

Complete lack of concentration from Saville and Batth turned as fast as an oil tanker.

Batth and Hause get in each other's way. Get Batth off and Wilko back on Lambert and stop fucking about with the back end of the team.
Wolves a bit naive on that attack with Weimann breaking his neck to get down there but it didn't come to him and that chance wasted.

Weimann tracking back for miles and then left stranded by a shit ball from Doherty.
Weimann doing ok again...

Dicko also playing well, nods a neat ball to Weimann who fires it in with his left foot but its blocked...

Anyone see the goal (live or on SSN)?
Where was Ikeme - should he have stopped that?

They've had one effort on goal but we've created more and are on top. Not over yet

Costa gives the ball away far too easily and that's poor and a promising move just falls down as Coady went flying past him and Costa ignored him then lost possession and a Brentford attack then developed but Ikeme came out to catch an aimless cross....

Not going to stay up by default. We seem to have played better today (not a high bar) but we continually give away soft goals and we have won one game all season after conceding first.

Get some flair on the pitch Lambert. How long do you have to watch our goal tally dwindle with Edwards at #10 before you do something about it?

They attacked down our right, Batth committed himself and done like a kipper, Saville admired the ball and run but did little else and Ikeme had no chance with the shot across him and into his left hand corner
