They are allowed to say no apparently.

Sky have pulled their coverage to be in their London studio and were going to do the comms from there so G-Nev could then be part of it but he has decided not to do so.
So they are still sending a comms team to the ground.

That'll change then. Sky don't pay all the money they do for clubs to decide who they can and can't send to commentate. A loophole because nobody has ever thought anyone would do it presumably

Look we’ve have a hell of a lot worse said about us over the years but even then I’d be embarrassed by this action. Sometimes people don’t like how you do things and will voice it very vocally it’s just how it goes in football.
