Don't rush yourself. It's... a lot.

He had a particular joy when he scored that it felt he never cared that his stat had increased, rather that his joy was entirely derived from his success creating the team's success.

Jota could really bug me at times going down blind alleys when he played wide, but as the sort of second striker playing around Raúl; I mean, as a pair they were just spectacular. They brought the best out of each other, they emboldened each other, they knew each other’s movements inside and out. And what a best it was.

It takes special men more than special footballers to be so talented and yet display none of the selfishness that so often comes with that.

Uh, so what I mean is, Jota’s Top 10 for me for sure.

Diogo, Rúben, Coady & Raúl all equal behind them.

João Gomes and André have the potential to break into that group if they stay for a significant period or if we manage to achieve something special while they're here.

Petition to ban the Daily Mail from Molineux and Anfield for posting pictures of the car and Diogo's wife outside the Mortuary

The media is making this even harder to fathom. The BBC also got in the act, posting pictures of the accident scene and now pictures of grieving relatives alongside name-checking multiple pictures of footballers as if it's a fashion show

As a parent I feel for the kids and hope they have the support network around them to grieve and process this tragedy in the healthiest way they can.

Following on from DW post above and top 10 players, I always find myself falling between two camps.

I've so much affection for those players under Turner that turned the fortunes of the club around on the pitch after dropping through the leagues.

And then I have the team Nuno built, and yes there are those brilliant bright spots in between with stand out players such as Lescott, Keane, Murray etc.

For years, decades, I'd kidded myself about the quality of our players, that they were of a certain standard, quite high. And then I watched the players that came in under Nuno and I realised that I'd been kidding myself all those years, these were proper players!

Privileged is all I will say, because he played for us a player of that quality playing for our club is something to cherish.
Privileged how well he respected the club and city when here, never heard of any problems when he moved just did it with respect.
Another what I’d call a “yard stick” player ie how close is he in quality to Diogo Jota when playing in a similar position.
I think we’ll be old men and keep saying “he’s not a patch on Jota”
