It’s been back to the walls, negative mindset football - desperately hanging on to a one goal lead. Defending the edge of our area and offering nothing going forward for large parts. Thankfully Tolu’s superb finish has put a little sparkle on the scoreline. Of course, plenty of circumstances behind why we’ve played the way we have (which we’re all aware of), but let’s not dress it up to be something it isn’t.

It’s been abit meh for me. If Everton were on it abit more then who knows , couple of poor touches when attacking.

That being said it’s where we are and a definite improvement, and they’re still ‘playing for the manager’ which after the start to season is always a plus

Just so nice to bring your main striker off and have another actual one of similar quality come on. Genuinely cannot remember the last time we had that.
