90% of the UK is rural, and we have 70 million people.Opinions vary. I’d rather not see more and more of our countryside turned into housing estates.
So, 50k asylum seekers a year isn't going to make any difference at all.

Yes, it absolutely is. There is no reason to go on a march led by fascists if you're not a fascist, or at the very least a fascist enabler.
Having concerns is fine. Having a frank and open discussion is fine. Being right of centre is fine (if misguided IMHO). But going on a march with the 2020s equivalent of the National Front, when you know exactly who is leading it and speaking at it? Behave.
Oh, so I get it. Going on a fascist march, surrounded by fascists, organised by fascists, and supporting those fascists doesn't make someone a fascist. Riiiiiight. There’s not a lot of point in continuing with this, we’ve made our views clear and it’s futile trying to get the other to respect our views.
I hope when you’re amongst friends drowning your sorrows over a pint with Farage as PM and the U.K. following the utter chaos of the USA you can reflect on what the left did to facilitate that instead of being oblivious and blaming everybody else.
50k is a town the size of Royal Leamington Spa being added every year. Of course it makes a difference. Dismissive comments that are wrong don’t help have a sensible debate.90% of the UK is rural, and we have 70 million people.

Next I suppose someone's going to tell me that I should "go home" because I'm not English; and neither is my wife; and god alone knows where they want my kids to "go home" to - presumably the middle of the sea somewhere half way between. And maybe I should tell a couple of close friends who are trans that they don't count as real humans. And that's without considering the massive positives that immigration and new cultures has brought us.
If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and goes on a duck march, then presumably it's a "concerned goose".
If the birth rate went up by 50k in a year would you have a similar aneurysm?50k is a town the size of Royal Leamington Spa being added every year. Of course it makes a difference. Dismissive comments that are wrong don’t help have a sensible debate.
Yeah. It will all be your fault Law’s!!There’s not a lot of point in continuing with this, we’ve made our views clear and it’s futile trying to get the other to respect our views.

Lovely turn of phrase. I’d like my country to control who comes in, not be subject to the weather in the Channel determining how many people arrive here. Little bit different to worrying about birth rates. If the birth rate went up by 50k in a year would you have a similar aneurysm?
Going back 41 years...As someone who grew up in the 80s - in a West Midlands where multiculturalism was a default, and we've had 40 years following on of it - I have no time for discussing politics or indeed anything who think England is the exclusive preserve of white people.
They're not worth talking to.
That’s controlling who stays not who comes. We do control who comes in. Everyone gets assessed, either for a visa, or for asylum. If you don't qualify you get deported.
I much preferred Cambridge Wolf...
Well, yes. Anyone can make the case that they should live in the UK. What's your alternative? That’s controlling who stays not who comes.
what with Alan getting the rap for all the division in the States has TWF become the cause of world ills? All we need is THM to return and blame us for the brexit, that we told him would be shit, being shit.I much preferred Cambridge Wolf...

But you keep doing you, I’m not sure how you’re going to cope with what’s coming but tbh I’m beyond caring now.
Exactly.Even if many or most of them aren't fascists, they are certainly aligning with them on this issue and absolutely need to be called out as useful idiots.
