General Wolves News

It seems he (Sasa) didn't feel any obvious pain because the injury was to an already reconstructed knee, so that's probably why he didn't feel like he needed to come off straightaway.

Hoddle kept Gyepes on too when he did his ACL vs Sheff Wed but that was far more obvious that he was done (and far more pointless keeping him on, as we were 3-1 down with five minutes to go).

I think the physios probably should have been able to tell his (Sasa’s) knee was fucked based on the footage when the surgeon looked at it.

A really interesting watch. I must be honest that I'm feeling bad about having thoughts such as - shit he's injured, who will play up front now? - whereas the film shows that there is a human, moving to a different country and immediately having his world turned upside down in a professional capacity too.
Hopefully he can get match fit and be successful for us.

I've got a feeling he will be ok and bag a few goals.
Don't ask me why, no kin idea

Just watched the first episode.

One thing that's a bit odd to me is wondering when they made a decision to follow his recovery and make a documentary on it? We see straight away they're filming him in the car to London to see the specialist.

I guess a decision somewhere was made "next serious injury a player gets, we'll make a film about it"
It's an interesting watch, and I certainly don't attach any blame to Lage

I can also understand why the hairdresser misunderstood him and thought he was already injured when we signed him, because the way he describes not wanting to start isn't too clear.

It could also have been lets do a new signing video. Follow him for a while and do a how does a foreign player settle into the Club and City so they had plans to be with him a lot at the start of his time.

If he's not playing then how else will he contribute towards his wages? All good as far as I'm concerned.

Looks like Podence is abroad?

Anybody else expecting no season ticket cash this season ?

Neil Cutler the new GK coach. Very good appointment.
I used to work with Neil Cutlers dad years ago, in the Dudley area. His dad was a lovely guy. Fergie tried to sign Neil when he was a teenager, and rang his dad up for a chat. His dad thought it was someone taking the piss for 5 mins!
