General Wolves News

there’s no way I can read the express and star site even if it’s a free article so I’m going to guess it’s about music tastes

Same here, 10-15minutes I’d have watched, 90mins no chance.

How could it not be the wonderboy?

Although that wouldn't be so good to say politically.

Maybe ask him again once he's gone.

- Made a mistake not sacking O'Neil sooner

- Clearly fell out with Nuno in my opinion, referenced 'luck' in coming 7th consecutively a few times, said we were very defensive and felt the style of play wasn't sustainable. Just felt cold talking about him.

- Says structure of the club during that time also wasn't right

- Club doesn't operate as well when he isn't in Wolverhampton (at training ground all the time, apparently)

- Jota was the sale he regrets most, said we were going to sell one player that summer, Nuno decided it was Jota

- No intention of selling the club

- Spoke of his personal liking for esports and referenced again when talking about how we can grow as a 'brand'

- Convinced growing this 'brand' is key to improving the worldwide view of the club

- Social media not reflective of the fan base

- Cutrone was the worst signing

- Spoke about in an ideal world the club would break even on balance sheet. Was keen to point out that doesn't mean you raise £100m, you spend £100m. At times you felt like it meant we could have a positive net spend, other times you thought we won't.

- Vitor and Jeff's team have a veto on any transfer, tried to say it never gets to that stage as generally a common understanding on what's needed.

- Criticised the way women's football works, in the way that they were told you need x, y and z before you can win promotion, doesn't feel it's sustainable for growth of game

- Molineux is a 'good stadium'. 35,000 to 40,000 would be the max for us but not urgent. More urgent to get more hospitality seats in, and plans to change the Steve Bull to get more hospitality in, compared to Fulham but that they are for more 'high end'.

- Financially makes no sense to make the tweaks to increase the general capacity (so will just be Steve Bull hospitality)

- 'Actively looking' for minority investment, could be different businesses, mentioned someone who could build hotels in city or esports (again)

- Didn't give valuation of club, but said we are bigger than Palace on 'any angle' - Textor just sold less than 50% for £190m.

- Insists we are ambitious but becoming a big club not in a 'traditional way'. Says staying in the Premier League is key to all of that.

Little Liam has released a broken down version of the interview. Shi had remained in the background for a little while, so my levels of anger towards him had died down - but this interview has brought them back and some.

The club are keen to bring in enough quality to compete, but will maintain their efficient approach to spending, something Shi believes is to the club's long-term benefit.

"You have to make sure you are the one that spends money most efficiently," he added.

"Maybe we are the most efficient at investing, I think we are one of the best in the league.

"When you invest less, but enough, then you have more space to survive, sustain, or grow.

Of course Jeff - you are still the smartest man in the room and we could only wish to have a small % of your intelligence.

You fucking pillock.
