General Wolves News

Yeah I’ll check again on Monday I think but the fact the city game is members only worries me. Hopefully just because of the category? You’d think they’d have made it clearer if it wasn’t a mistake though.
“Unfortunately, we are not able to comment as we have not been informed if we will go to general sale”.

In response to me asking when the Everton game will go to general sale

Phone up and put on an accent. On Saturday there were massive groups of foreign fans,, presuming they were sat in the temporary stand?

I would crumble under the pressure of doing a good accent. But maybe I can find someone who can :ROFLMAO:

Both Jamie Carragher & Gary Neville have predicted us to be relegated on MNF.

Just shows that what’s going on with us is now, broadly, well known in the mainstream.

In fairness, Carragher did go on to say that he didn’t want to just say the three promoted clubs. Both said it “might be our year”. Carragher was very complimentary about Vitor.

I mean it's a fair enough assessment, we've had awful runs in every single one of the last five seasons and we all know the squad isn't where it needs to be and that we've lost a huge amount of goal outputs from three months ago. If you're thinking outside of the box a bit then it's basically us, Everton, West Ham or Brentford (I would say all the other three looked way worse than us this weekend, even though we had the heaviest defeat - Everton in particular were absolutely dismal, four or five individuals tonight deserved 2/10 at best).

Unless the club decide to run themselves in a sensible manner again then it's a matter of time. One year it'll catch up with us, you cannot keep continually diluting the quality of the playing squad every single season.

I think this is the weakest squad we've had on day one of a PL season since we came back up, the positive in our favour is that Vitor Pereira is a much much better manager than Bruno Lage or Gary O'Neil.

They went with West Ham & Brentford as the most likely teams to be in a relegation scrap with their three predicted teams for the drop.

I did have a laugh at Everton fans predicting they’d finish 10th. Deluded.

It does seem reasonable to believe that at least one of the promoted teams could stay up, so therefore one 'established' team will go down and since we possibly (on paper) have the worst squad I can understand why someone would pick us for relegation.
But we are better organised than West Ham, Everton, and Brentford and I would much rather have VP in charge than Potter or Andrews. Right now there is no reason why we cannot finish 15th or higher.

If you thought GNev/Carra’s predictions were bad… 🤣
