Not really the “cookie crumbles” is more about luck. Slot has actively chosen to pick the side he did so that’s choice.
As @Tony Towner says ethically there’s no right or wrong to this, personally I really don’t like sides clocking off early. For example the way we ended season under O’Neil and Lage.
