Live Match Discussion 2024/25

Brentford and Bournemouth both similar sized clubs who I’ll always associate with tier’s 3 or 4 unless they stay in top level long enough.
Both well run clubs and I think Brentford benefit very well from geographical location.
Similar sized clubs from the north ie Rotherham would struggle to attract players due to location regardless how well they were run or backed.
Fulham for me at least have a pedigree of top level football from the 60’s and have been PL regulars since 2001, 18 in total.

...and still bring 3 men and a dog to away games. I hate what they've become as a club - the ultimate PL tourist destination at obscene prices.

Bournemouth for me who is not want getting into Europe. More to do with sanctimonious behaviour back in 2014 when poor Mr Mostyn thought he was going to be killed in Wolverhampton but was saved once he got on the train with none sub human Bournemouth fans. Likes of Howe, Tindall and Harry Arter constantly using dark arts but continually playing the sweet little Bournemouth card when it suited them.

A very one-sided affair at Wembley, save for the 1-0 scoreline. Man City all over Forest who can't get into the game at all.

3-1 Liverpool

Liverpools first was ruled out for offside and the first replay showed that it was on. VAR pissed around for another 3 minutes before coming to the same conclusion.

Gave them lots of room early on. Then they started to press which they don't usually do but it stemmed the flow a bit. Grealish started dropping deeper to give an extra man and they were very comfortable again.

MGW twice hitting the "woodwork" for Forest, has to be scoring the second chance really.

Gibbs White unlucky to hit woodwork twice in 5 minutes or misses target twice from good opportunities - take your pick!

Coverage of Liverpool winning the Premier League is akin to the Coronation of a new Monarch on 5live.
