There are obviously two separate things here.

1. The state of what we're being served up on the pitch

2. The success or otherwise of the transfer window.

On the second point, it's shit so far but that could change. I doubt it will based on the past few years of experience, and I dont understand why anyone thinks things will be any different this year than they have in previous years, so why keep telling us all what we already know?

On the former, no one is saying it is or it will be fine. It's a complete straw man argument and I'm fucking sick of being accused of having my head buried in the sand just because I don't complain about how shit things are every hour of every day. It's bad enough as it is without having fellow fans turning on me because I refuse to spend my whole day complaining.

There are plenty of people who have told those who dare to criticise the club that they should “wait until the end of the window before casting judgement”. There are also a few that have defended the quality of the players we’ve signed, and jumped on anyone who’s dared to criticise. “It’s too early” etc.

If anything’s weird, it’s the people that try to police others for having a marginally different opinion.

You seem to be in a separate group of one, where you’re getting offended and thinking every post aimed at those defending the window, the club, or the quality of our signings, is aimed at you.
