Thought Wolves brought out that shitty code of conduct and one of the things being you can’t give your ticket to a friend, you can only do the Wolves sell back scheme where they massively rip you off

They limit it (think it's 3 a season), but I've never had a problem upgrading on the phone

My renewal decision almost entirely depends on getting a new job. If I do, and the terms aren't a salary reduction from what I had then I will be tempted. If it stays like I am now then absolutely no chance.

Saying that, if I DO get sorted, a price rise would probably see me taking a membership and going to games when I fancied it. The price rises are attacking the core support which is olympic levels of dumb.

Is the Season Ticket as a concept now not fit-for-purpose? As a golfer, the idea of a membership being one-size-fits-all is a thing of yesteryear, with memberships that allow a limited number of rounds, access on certain days, and a whole myriad of other options on offer and demanded too.

Not for me, if possible I want to be at all the games in the same place.

I thought we already did selling single STH games back to the club if you can't make it? And they then sell it at full price.

It's a con you can get (I think) half of the cost back as ticket cash.
Yep it's half and you only get it after the game.

The Watford game being postponed also threw in a scenario the club hadn't thought about.
I sold my ticket for that game and it sold just 10 mins before the game was called off. Now I sold as I couldn't do Boxing Day but I will be free for the rearranged game. Technically I have sold my seat for that game so rearranged I should miss it but I sold it because I couldn't make that specific date.
Emailed Wolves to see what the deal is and, we'll, they don't know. Had 2 replies so far telling me the club are looking at how to deal with it.

No issue if they tell me the ticket still isn't mine but just a little surprised they haven't got a procedure in place for situations like this.

Half expecting to be told my seat will be gone and I can buy a ticket for the game with a 10% discount but no Wolves cash from my sale.

It doesn't surprise me unfortunately. That team of people Jeff Shi has assembled are in over their heads in the positions they are in. The result is that a lot of the off the pitch stuff is a shambles.

This scheme was introduced by LD wasn't it?

If they put the prices up they want fucking with a big stick. The economic concerns for supporters over the next 18 months are going to be fucking massive, it'd be an absolute piss take, and all for a grand sum of money that they'd spend five minutes haggling over in a contract or transfer negotiation

Tr... tra... transfer negotiation?

Poll now added.

The more that can vote the better. If you aren't on the waiting list, but you buy when tickets go on general sale, but wouldn't buy a season ticket if you have the chance for next season then please select option 5.

All comes down to price for me. Single parent, rising cost of living, one kid is already an STH and the other wants to start going as well. If I can't justify the cost I'm not going. Won't be a popular decision in this house but I'll blame the club.

If they increase from £550 I won't renew on principle. It's not the money, it's the value you evidently price on my custom.

If they freeze it (which is still a huge increase from 2018, and what has materially changed since then, really) then I'm 50/50.

In terms of the poll. If the prices are frozen (even though they really won't be as last years rebate hid the increase last time) I will renew. The answer I've given assumes another hike

Having a ST commits you to far greater expenditure than just the ST as there’s travel and a few beers most games. There’s also the fact that most of us probably miss two or three games because of other commitments and get nowhere near the face value of the ticket back.

About a third of our games are on TV and it’s rare you can’t find a stream for those that aren’t. Beer at home costs a fraction of the price in a pub so I can walk to my lad’s, drink beer, watch the game and save about £100 a match as I buy his ticket. It’s not the same but we can still do the 3pm kick offs on a Saturday as I’m sure tickets will be available.

Price in pubs is a scandal these days too. I bought a bottle of Old Mout before the Southampton game. £4.85.

They're three for a fiver in the Tesco round the corner from our house in Bradmore.

I was very lucky to get a ST when I did. It was only the fact that the friend sitting next to my sister was giving her ST up to move away. As soon as I moved back I got it transferred to me. Timing was perfect, and I feel extremely lucky.

So whatever it goes up to next season I will be renewing. If I give it up, I'll never get it back.

I love matchdays, and I'd really miss them now.
