Summer 2025 Transfer Window (not Wolves)

Jackson would absolutely drive me insane if he were a Wolves player, he doesn't understand offside and goes from looking decent to a parks player multiple times a game.
Yep, such a strange player and I don't see Chelsea kicking onto the next level whilst he's still first choice. That said, I'm not sure Delap is the player to help them do that either.

I read he had only started 16 top flight games before Chelsea signed him, no surprise he looks bewildered so often.

So Bournemouth have already lost Huijsen, Kerkez set to leave, potentially losing Zabarnyi to PSG and now it looks like Kepa is going to sit on Arsenal's bench for £5M. Basically need a whole new defence.

If Iraola gets pinched at any point they could be in trouble.

And Flekken though they have replaced him with Kelleher

Brighton are spending €47M on an 18 year old Greek striker.

I’m starting to feel that there should really be a limit to fees for players under a certain age. Clubs chucking the kind of cash we did for Silva or Brighton seem to be for this kid is just not sustainable.

Cool - £10m bid for Yamal?

Fair. Maybe based on 1st team appearances?

I dunno, ~£50m for potential feels like a gamble that can't pay off at scale. IMV, anyway; I'm not a financial advisor.

I have no idea who this guy is, but he’s already playing senior football and Greece u21s.

Brighton know their stuff (still no guarantee it pays off) whereas Fabio was a dodgy bung with zero rationality to it, so isn’t really comparable to genuine transfers.

Slightly harsh on Fabio isn't it. He had a decent rep at the time.
Of course we overpaid for him but he wasnt just some random Jeff found

The kid is 18, and the probabilities say he’s more than likely never going to recoup that value.

I dunno, the sums moved around are pretty disgusting either way.
