Summer 2025 Transfer Window (not Wolves)

Kyogo Furuhashi joins Birmingham. Looking serious for a push for Prem with Yank dollar.

Spurs signing Kudus as well as MGW. Don’t think either of them are “champions league players”, particularly when they currently own zero of those players. Seem to have this habit of signing this calibre of player for lots of money. Richarlison, Maddison, Johnson, Solanke. These are neither foreign gambles, young developing players or established top players. Just established mediocrity at a premium.

Probably spurs limit in terms of quality

Kudus at just a couple of million less than Cunha :(

Well that’s Newcastle’s issue now. But spurs have been playing this game for years. Either lay the big fees and wages or go for more Udogies, Bergvalls, Grays etc.

It's stuff like this that gives me hope - for Wolves and for the league. Clubs like Spurs, WHU, Everton, ManU waste so much money on mediocrity when they should all have much stronger squads than us, than Brighton, than Bournemouth etc.

I think Kudus and Gibbs White are both very good players and if Frank can get them performing consistently they could help Spurs challenge for the Europa places and even squeeze into 5th which might get them a CL place. After all Forest were challenging and their most influential player was MGW, allied to Wood having a freak season.

They are very good players absolutely. I’m just saying I don’t think they are top tier.

The big unknown at Spurs is how Frank will do compared with Ange. I think he’ll have them much more organised - be very hard not to - and these two in addition to the players they already have could see them on a par with Newcastle and Villa competing for 5th.

I mean, if there's a release clause and Spurs have met that, I don't think Forest have a leg to stand on. Plus according to reports, the player wants the move. Also, it was mentioned several times during the Cunha to Utd saga, that Cunha had agreed terms with Utd LONG before they spoke to Wolves to finalise terms. I really don't see this as anything more than Forest's bellend owner who bollocked Nuno on the pitch, trying to keep face with the supporters, having seen yesterday's backlash. They'll surely know deep down MGW is as good as gone.

It sounds like it’s possible that the release clause was a secret and so the on it sadly Spurs could know about it was by speaking to him without permission? Or something. Might just be one of those things that everyone does but is technically not allowed so Forest can kick off and delay it all for a while.
