You could say this about any player ever to meet that - for example Semedo hasn't been snapped up has he.

The "no one else has signed him so he can't be any good" is as illiterate now as it was 15 years ago.

We could have but Mbuemo appears to have been quite calm through it and didn't kick up an fuss even though the saga went on for 6 weeks.

Cunha on the other hand, had us in a corner and without that agreed clause I imagine the noise around us rejecting offers would have been very loud indeed and drama we could do without.

I think the situations are a little different.
