He’s training in Sociedad so pretty unhappy! He’s on a long contract, they’ve offered him a pay rise. He’s being a colossal cunt. Players are happy to sign the big contracts but not when it blocks a move. Can’t have your cake and eat it.

Liverpool are happy to wait it out, hoping player power wins. Newcastle need to hold out and let him rot if needs be. If anyone is rich enough/has contacts to do it it’s them. They can loan him to Saudi for like £30m a year to cover themselves
