I get that its ruthless, and not nice being 'bomb squaded' but at the end of the day you are still getting paid and you are being provided with facilities to train in which will be the contractual requirements. The flip side is a player refusing to play despite being contracted to do so (do they get fined all the weeks wages for games they have misssed?)

Isak as an example has decided he doesnt want to stay at Newcastle depsite being paid a fortune, signing a long contract and being offered more. Maybe dont sign a long contract? Maybe negotiate yourself an out from the outset if you want a way out in the future. Very happy to sign the long contract with all the guarantees that has but now leave yourself stuck. Can't have your cake and eat it.

Player power getting out of control depsite them getting paid more than ever. In the world of FFP and high transfer fees they have clubs over a barrel. The Cunha situation was a disgrace
