Genuinely thought Sasa had a lot to offer the squad this season. He does look absolutely fucked after 10-15 minutes on the pitch, though - so it'll be good to see if he can work up his fitness so he's capable of playing most/all of the game - but even for 10-15 minutes I'd have preferred him off the bench to Hwang.

That said, I did see a few videos of Tolu yesterday from a thread put up on Twitter with some insight on how he plays - he makes some really good runs off the ball and seems a lot quicker than I expected - so if he can give us the big man off the bench option for now, I'm also ok with that.

We all know the plan will be to have Tolu as the main man with Sasa as back up next season when JSL is inevitably sold anyway...

I'd 100% have kept Sasa not least due to the fact that he is a footballer, which qualifies him above others that will make up the matchday squad.

It's a shame as he's a good player but the last thing he needs is Premier League football. It would be utterly negligent to ask him to put his career at risk like that.

Hopefully he gets through a whole season there, we get a reasonable fee for him next summer and he goes on to have a long career at a decent level.

I don't really think it matters what league he is in, if his ACL is going to go again it'll go by virtue of just playing, nothing else.

Seen plenty of ACL's go and there was nothing in it to make you question initially the severity of the injury.

I've never seen the circumstances of how Sasa suffered his ACL whilst at Frankfurt but I can say that "speed and intensity" didn't play a part in his ACL at Wolves.

Anyway... neither here nor there... wish him well on his recovery, he deserves some luck and something to go his way after a torrid time with injuries.
