Probably when Max signs for Mercedes in 2026Big win for Lando off the back of his disaster at Canada. Done with some immense pressure at times from Oscar.
Red Bull may be looking at another firing as yet another 2nd driver is having a mare. At some point they may admit having a team and car set up for 1 driver is not the way forward.
Or uncomfy as everyone other than Max finds it.He will just get comfy in the Red Bull next year
They might actually just go back to being a team rather than a one man show.Or uncomfy as everyone other than Max finds it.
Think it's been a bit of a vicious circle with them - read something before that reckoned the way they design their car is theoretically the way that gives the maximum performance but it comes with a very narrow window for getting peak performance and obviously that's difficult for drivers to hit consistently. With Max capable of handling that madness they pushed further and further down that road but to the detriment of whoever their other driver was. I guess without him there they'll have to water down that mentality and make their car a bit more user friendly otherwise they'll end up with two drivers struggling. Be interesting to see if Merc start to push towards a stupidly unstable car if they end up with Max angling for the sort of thing he was used to at RB.They might actually just go back to being a team rather than a one man show.
Surprised by the timing of this. Maybe Max has issued an ultimatum?Horner has been sacked by Red Bull.
