That's not going to go down well considering who they were linked with a few weeks ago

ALbion fans putting on a brave face - money isnt everything, its what you do with it etc etc

Blimey, only need Walsall to be bought out by Lim's Takeaway for a full sweep.

Moaning about being owned by a Company valued at just below $2bn!!.....how the fuck will they survive.

Well, havent we always had richer owners in recent history?
Doesnt seem to have worked too fantastic* for us.

*If the idea of fantastic is being in the Premier League.

If you haven't seen Aberdeen's own goal from last night go and search for it.

Every bit as good as Peter Enkelman's vs Blues or Carl Ikeme's vs Bristol City.

:icon_lol:

Just seen it - if you are going to back pass make it just outside the goal & let the keeper come out to it just in case

Klopp fully settled in up in Scouseland...refused to answer a question from a Sun journalist today.

Anyone else heard the proposal on a new CL format?

The top 4 leagues will all get 4 places, top 3 qualify and the 4th place to be selected on 'historical merit'. :uhoh2:

Hmmmm - the "Liverpool must always qualify" clause.

Arsenal should be worried. They have the same Champions League pedigree historically as Leeds, and rather less than Villa or Forest.

When Liverpool and United finish top 3 clubs like Forest, Leeds and Villa should have a strong case, ofcourse they won't. Football hadn't even started properly back then.

What is "historical merit" then, if winning the competition twice like Forest did doesn't count? I am guessing it really means, let's ensure that the usual clique are allowed to play. Pathetic really.

I'm guessing only merits since it became Champions League in 92-93 will count.

So Blackburn could be in with a chance for their magnificent efforts!

Leeds were semi-finalists in that era, don't forget. I am sure all it really means is 3 plus whichever one of Liverpool, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs has missed out. Contemptible stuff.
