Read up on the origin of the All Blacks name. According to some it came from a misspelt headline which should have read All Backs due to the ability of the forwards to play like backs. The incorrect headline from the early 20th century was used to promote other matches of the tour.
Anyway if it was for the black kit or the misspelt headline it stuck and will remain.

As with everything in life… context is king…

Guess we'd need to get a Maori perspective on it.

Which I mean legitimately, not as a copout.
Maoris love the All Blacks.
The haka won't take place before an all black game if there are no moaris playing. (Granted last time that happened was something like 1967).

Somehow we've gotten on the All Blacks name, it's the All Whites that are under review.

Interestingly, the women's national team doesn't use the All Whites name.

You are reading way too much into it

The women’s rugby team is the white ferns. As the logo is white on a black shirt. And only the men’s rugby team can be the All Blacks.

Unfortunately this is all too regular in football

It is utterly disgraceful and I've seen this at the sharp end.

Shrewsbury were trying to get people to be match scouts for free without even paying them for their travel.

Disgusting behaviour and any club that is trying to get people to work as slaves should be prosecuted.

Clubs at League 1 and below should stop paying shit footballers £200k a year and pay their whole staff a proper wage.

Reminds me of the random bans we did in the early 2010’s… this though is overkill to the extreme.
What a depressing time that was. The steward in front of us knew he was fighting a losing battle, but there was one steward in the South Bank that took it way too seriously. A “stand up if you love the Wolves” soon ruined all of his efforts each time.

As good as Antonio has been for West Ham for a few years it does grate that the media are making a fuss of his "West Ham all time Premier League top goalscorer."

He's got 43 top flight goals ffs. Geoff Hurst got 80 odd goals in 2 seasons in the mid sixties (including cup goals).

Hurts played a different sport though. Football was only invented 29 years ago

Hurst isn’t even West Ham’s top scorer (he has 180). Some bloke in the thirties knocked up 300 plus.
