While I don't disagree with that it would have been interesting to see him used by an actual manager (given he's been 'long gone' at this stage). Unlike most of our other inside forward options, he has genuine ability.

Genuine ability without the aptitude = wasting his career and frankly, he can do it somewhere else. He's not prepared to do the hard yards and wants things on his own terms it seems to me. Just another journeyman footballer piling up the cash although he hasn't really earned it. People like him make me sick. Millions of people around the world struggling to survive or make ends meet and we get ungrateful gits like him believing he has an automatic right to a place in the team. Fuck him off this week.
