The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2024/25

What game is even being referred to with Marco Silva at Hull? They lost 7-1 to Spurs on the final day but they were already down. Embarrassing yes but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter.

Hull were no hopers that year, shouldn't have really come up and didn't even have a proper manager until Silva came in around January. Swansea took 13 points from their final 5 games, without that freak run he keeps them up. His time at Watford and Everton is what would make me concerned about him although seems like he has developed a lot at Fulham.
It was the 4-0 against Palace. The match that officially relegated them.

A few reports around that Wilder could get the bullet today

Frank pretty much confirmed at Spurs.

GON could do a job for Brentford.
Apparently the shortlist list for Brentford is

McKenna
Scotty Parker
Current assistant manager that Frank wants to take with him to Spurs.

Ornstein says its agreed he's going with Frank.

And Parker? lolz

I still think if GON doesn’t get a job before the season starts he won’t get another

He will....he will land a Championship job at some point.
Plenty become available from around October

Good chance Stoke and Watford are available based on last few years.

Brian Barry Murphy taking over at Cardiff .

To be fair, they've already dropped to 18th...

Robbie Savage set to leave Macclesfield for Forest Green Rovers.

Last Sunday morning Damien Duff resigned as Manager of Shelbourne .

Duff was always box office and to be fair was very good for the League of Ireland . He raised its profile , not all by himself clearly , but by raising the standard of Shelbourne he brought another competitive Dublin team to the League alongside Rovers , Pats and Bohs .

He had the guts to take on the job rather than just resting on his laurels and enjoying his wealth .

Winning the League last year was a fair achievement and he got them into Europe twice as well during his time there . They have been poor enough this year and he clearly couldn't see any way forward .

Will be interesting to see what he does next .

RVN leaves Leicester 'by mutual consent'
