The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

Just says the sale isn’t finalized, not that it’s off altogether tbf.

Permanent deal apparently. I'd imagine a fairly low fee, the Portuguese league is tinpot.
Harsh but true.

Better Tondela than Boavista! If they haven’t folded altogether yet…

Hang on, somethings got lost in translation here. I know we’re not going to replace Cunha “like for like”. This lad has less than 20 senior appearances to his name, though…
If he and Fer are the only forward recruits I’d agree. So long as we get a more proven replacement for Cunha this appears to be a good move.

21 senior appearances, then.

I remember him as an Academy player whose job was to simply give playmaker Cundle the ball. Nothing else.

He isn't even good at the simple things. Like you look at Jack Price who is the epitome of lower Champ/good L1 tidy midfielder who never scores or assists.

Jack Price is 1000 times better than Joe Hodge even now, and he plays for Brackley having taken a year out.

Blows my mind that he was captain of that very talented City youth team containing, Palmer, Rogers, McAtee, Doyle, Delap, Bobb, Harwood Bellis and a few others playing a high level.

It says we haven't even made an offer yet.
It would be silly to get into pedantry for a language neither of us speak, but “no official offer” doesn’t mean we aren’t in talks.
