Cunha - replaced in front 3 with Arias
Munetsi - an out of position mid, ideally replaced with a first team winger
JSL - first XI

Johnston/Bentley - see Sa
Sarabia - needs replacing, in minutes by Bellegarde/R.Gomes, spot by Fer Lopez?
S.Bueno - need a better CB for cover
Mosquera - need him to be fit just to have cover

I don't think we had such a small squad even in the Nuno era, and this is no where near that quality.

Do you reckon Pubill will be good enough to go straight into the starting 11 @Lycan? Always a gamble at that age, but seems like it will be quite a leap in quality compared to where he’s been playing?

He's made 100+ appearances in La Liga and Segunda and looked really good for Spain U21 this summer. From what Vítor has said about which kind of player he wants it'll be Rodrigo & Pubill competing on the right and then Bueno competing with a new signing on the left.

Pubill - my only concern is that he sounds more like a right back who can play centre back. Which would suit being in the back three more under Vitor? Would need a good attacking threat on opposite side (Lino?). From small bits I saw he looks like a strong lad though.

Pubill looks like he may be able to do a bit of everything. Looks good at beating a press but able to drop into a back 4 in possession if needed. Lwb looks an issue, really not sold on Bueno and would be worried about Lino with him definitely being more of an offensive player and being right footed. His left foot is fine but he does and would favour coming inside a lot and not sure how that works with what Vitor wants, he’s been very vocal on Toti and his competition for that place being left footed so would think that goes for the Lwb too.
