Because he signed under Lage and we've gone through Lopetegui and O'Neil since to get to Vitor, and all the staff have changed every single time. We've had three different Directors of Football FFS.

Why would he be "terse" with staff for whom he's never played, as he wasn't even in the squad?

I can believe him not liking O'Neil/Derry/Jenkins because we ludicrously decided he wasn't even worth minutes off the bench when that clown show was in charge.

At this stage I just want the best for the guy. A move to a slower, more technical league might be what he needs to rebuild his career.

We wouldn't be paying that much even if we did sell Jørgen. If that's what Nantes value him at he won't be moving this summer.

Yes, him playing in the Premier League at this point would almost be negligent - he needs to play in a much slower and less physical league to try and salvage anything in his career.
