The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

I've finally caught up with the this thread after having the tab open on my phone for weeks. My refusal to skim read any Wolves threads will be the death of me

Any normal club would have back ups ready for every possible position for this very eventuality

I agree.

Every time there's been discussion of having half decent striker back up though, going back to Raul, we always get the argument from a chunk of people on here that anyone good enough won't sit on the bench or share the limelight

Hypothetically speaking here. If JSL is sold would that make VP think twice about being here ?

Trying to add a slight positive spin - new signing would be no.1. Opens up to more players. Not got long to do it though etc etc.

Hwang counts as no.2 any way for reasons.

I meant 'back up' as in a list of players to move for in the eventuality that we sell any particular player.

Even given the levels of complacency exhibited so far this summer you’d have to hope we’ve sounded out a couple of strikers in the event we do sell.

Sergeant from Norwich anyone?! Bet Shi is furious we let Wrexham pick up Kieffer Moore.

'Too late in the window to bring in a proper replacement.'

For you bunch of cunts, yes it is.
To be fair, you can tell that it's too late in the window to be making sensible attacking player purchases by the fact that Newcastle are apparently willing to pay twice Strand Larsen's actual value out of sheer desperation.
