The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

Their fans generally can't be relied upon to give measured opinions on their young players either. If you go by what they say every single year group has 6 or 7 generational talents. They spent a whole year telling us we were wrong to think that Sheyi Ojo was a half arsed, talentless waster when we were the ones watching him shuffle around hiding from the ball every week.

That's the fella, over 20m wasn't he?

Up to 23m but had a pretty significant buy back too so still feel they had some faith in him. Brewster has actually been decent for Sheff Utd this year but nowhere near that level of fee paid, and he has also been moved away from being an out and out attacker and is one of the forwards they rotate on or off each game depending. If you were selling him in today's market you'd get about £3 Million max for him I'd suggest. So a spectacular mispay.

Man Utd and Villa are even worse for this.

Nathan Delfouneso should have won several European Golden Boots by now.

One good PL season in his whole career so far. Jury still very much out for me.

Yeah, agreed.

Like if you asked Wolves fans if they fancied swapping him for Strand Larsen, most would say no (might be nice to have both)

Speaking of bizarre one season wonders (if my memory is right), how strange for Phillip Billing’s best performances to have come under GO.

Looking forward to some top class arm flapping when we beat them again next season.

Looks like Ratcliffe has cut the budget of the commercial team for announcing new signings as well.

Pretty sure that makes it only Arsenal of the Sky 6 that we've not sold a player to since we were promoted.

Wolves have had an offer accepted for Bristol City teenager and Wales U16 international Ashton Williams. #wwfc #BristolCity
