I think it probably had to be for us to make a profit, City have a 50% sell on clause.

There would've been a lot of competition for his signature from Championship clubs and the teams at the top of that league (which is where Blues will want to be next season) spend a lot of money now.

Alan Nixon is saying Doyle to Blues is a loan with a £10M obligation.

I think that’s about the right fee for Doyle.

He’s a good player and did some good things for us - just got found wanting a little at the very highest level.

His pace and strength will always hold him back in the PL, but a solid £10m signing for Blues.

I wish him all the best, always gave his best for us.
