Well i disagree it’s naive. Comparing football to normal life is silly. But the sake of the argument, if I decline a reasonable offer from my current employers because I want to go look for a better offer, but then a better offer doesn’t arise, I’m grateful that I have my current employer as a fallback option and get my head down and carry on.I think this is really naive.
He has been trying to find a new club for the last 6 months or so, him having to move into a new house in Wolvo and play for us will feel like a backwards step.
Imagine it in your own career?
The argument is pointless anyway, because he isn’t gonna sign a deal, otherwise he would’ve done it. I imagine he has offers, but is in no rush to pick one given preseason hasn’t even started yet and worst case will hang it out later in the window when teams may pick up early injuries or get desperate.
