I appreciate there are some on here that hate Rangers and everything to do with them, but this would be a really good loan for him (on paper). Especially if he can hold down a regular spot in their team.
Could be playing alongside Coady as wellI appreciate there are some on here that hate Rangers and everything to do with them, but this would be a really good loan for him (on paper). Especially if he can hold down a regular spot in their team.
He’d be better off in the championship playing every week if he goes on loan. He’s played European football and apart from 6-8 domestic matches a season he’s not going to be tested like we’d want him to be. Lembikisa did well in Scotland and where’s he in terms of being a first team option.I appreciate there are some on here that hate Rangers and everything to do with them, but this would be a really good loan for him (on paper). Just Hobbs farewell gift innit. He’d be better off in the championship playing every week if he goes on loan. He gets to play for a big club, with European football, in-front of a big crowd every week. The league is physical and direct. But other stuff will be useful - like improving his English and just generally getting regular football over here. In reality, I don't really see a huge difference between him going to Rangers or playing for a low end Championship team. I suppose he'd be required to do more defending at a Championship team who are always under the cosh - but that's a bit picky for me. From an initial glance, it looks like a good loan. That's not me suggesting he'll come back and have an impact on the first team squad here in any shape or form, by the way. He’d be better off in the championship playing every week if he goes on loan. Living in Glasgow and potentially playing alongside Coady will not help that.improving his English
Yeah, though Doc isn’t going anywhere with a year left on his deal and Bueno we will get rid of anyway. So maybe if we want him to play 40+ games this is the year to loan him out. Expensive one to do that with though. If you want to take a highly positive stance, then Djiga would be moving to Rangers at the same age as van Dijk was when he moved to Celtic.
Back in the real world, it speaks volumes about where he is that we're willing to let him go out when 33 year old Matt Doherty and Santi "runs like a 63 year old" Bueno are two of our remaining five first team centre halves, and we play three every week.
Is Wooh left sided? There appears no smoke without fire on that one.Yeah, though Doc isn’t going anywhere with a year left on his deal and Bueno we will get rid of anyway. So maybe if we want him to play 40+ games this is the year to loan him out. Expensive one to do that with though.
I assume we will try to loan Meupiyou (who I’m told is actually pretty good but just needs games) so if they all go leaves us with:
Mosquera
Doherty
Agbadou
Toti
So ideally we want a left sided centre back who can play in the middle of that back 3 too?
