oh boy, 5 new pages on the transfer window thread, must be some exciting news!
yes - as I said when i edited! We are agreeing on this one EP.Bit pointless then isnt it, stating that he has me on ignore, but just clicks that![]()
Why would he have accepted it in January but not now? It looks pretty clear we’d like him to re-sign but we can’t force him to.We should have offered him a contract in January, the issue would have been resolved by now one way or another if we had.
Absolutely no need for that, my friend.you’re a prick, who is never wrong no matter how many times you get told you’re wrong, you carry on being a prick.
You did ask.
If we'd offered him a deal in January with a deadline on agreement we could have moved on by now.Why would he have accepted it in January but not now? It looks pretty clear we’d like him to re-sign but we can’t force him to.
Nah, we've allowed it to be strung out "out of respect for Nelson".If we'd offered him a deal in January with a deadline on agreement we could have moved on by now.
Instead we offered him a deal in March and presumably because of the late offer, we have allowed it to be strung out.
Also, no reason we couldn't have offered him a deal stating that "if we stay up" but we didn’t, we have let it drag on to the start of pre season.
Anyway, moving on from the most pointless 'debate' of the Summer so far...
Is it that outrageous, though? There could be a number of variables at play for Nélson beyond just contract terms. Maybe he’d like to be closer to home? Maybe after Diogo’s passing he feels he’d be uncomfortable at Molineux?Nah, we're allowed it to be strung out "out of respect for Nelson".
We really are a clown shop sometimes![]()
Well, I tried.
We could have offered in January with a relegation clause, no?
Edit: EP said this, my reading comprehension is shit.
Either way, if he leaves it will feel like a very stupid mistake, unless he was demanding 4+ years and a raise.
Whilst I get what you guys are saying, he would hardly of agreed at that time. He signs and says yeah, cool, and we get relegated last day of season, he can really only then start talking to clubs, so boxes himself into a corner, so to speak. If we'd offered him a deal in January with a deadline on agreement we could have moved on by now.

The Jota tragedy would only have been in play the last 5 days. I would imagine he was clearly having doubts/assessing options before Diogo’s passingIs it that outrageous, though? It’s obviously not convenient for the club but there’s nothing wrong with him not being certain of his next steps yet.
I mean, apples and oranges. It’s been 20 years since ince played for usPlaying devils advocate here, but why was Ince seen as a bad guy for stringing us along, but Semedo isn't?
Is it because it's July? Might that change in a few days or a week?
He is able to talk to anyone since January though and hes known since April 20th that we aren't going down.Whilst I get what you guys are saying, he would hardly of agreed at that time.
