Not having Guedes and Silva loafing about the place is an inherent win in and of itself, PSR be damned.
Whether there is or there isn't , getting Guedes , Silva and Sarabia off the payroll is good for everyone - all three were vastly overpaid compared to what they were contributing .Aren’t there upcoming changes to PSR that require a certain wages-to-turnover ratio to be adhered to?

Isn't he on enormous wages?Mitrovic is being released by his Saudi team. Could be decent competition for Strand Larsen?
Would make far too much sense for us to go for someone like him. Even by freeing up a load of wages.Mitrovic is being released by his Saudi team. Could be decent competition for Strand Larsen?

Footballers don't think that way though do they.He is but he's getting his £25M contract paid out in full so I'd imagine that wages wouldn't be too much of a worry for him going forward...
People in general don’t think that way. Put money on the table and folks will take it.Footballers don't think that way though do they.
Semedo has gone chasing coin in a shite league after being paid enormous sums for the last eight seasons in Spain and England, with a good offer to stay here and I daresay he could have found a different Premier League club if he wanted to. He doesn't need the money, he's taken it anyway.
Mitrovic? Not for me, at Prem level. He'd be a good signing.
Scored 14 in 24 in his last season, in the Prem.Mitrovic? Not for me, at Prem level.
Agreed. But to suggest he isn’t good enough is silly imo. He's not the kind of player we'd sign in a million years. Unless Jorge was his agent
I think it happens way more in "real" life - where people could sometimes actually do with the extra money but turn it down for various reasons - than in football, where if you were sensible, started at a top flight club in your late teens and had a solid career, you'd be made by your mid 20s for life without any need to work again. And yet they chase money, compromise their career, refuse to take a pay cut ever, etc etc.People in general don’t think that way. Put money on the table and folks will take it.
It’s a shame but that’s the world we live in.
Saw him on insta training with Rui Patricio. Seemed odd?Still think we should sign Vardy. He's different to JSL, local, wouldn't be expensive on a short deal. Sure people will say he's finished but 9 goals last season in that side is perfectly acceptable - after Cunha and JSL out next top scorer was our left-back with 4, and he scored more than Beto, Muniz, Son, the same as Havertz and only one less than Joao Pedro and Evanilson - and would fill a much needed gap.
