I don't have much against either player just seems a lot of money. Disasi might be OK in a back 3 with more protection, Fofana is coming off an injury but I think he's good and only 22. I think both improve the squad but £35m would be a more realistic fee.

Your reservations on Yerson’s injury record is fair, but whenever I’ve seen him play when fit, he looks like an absolute Rolls Royce of a footballer. I love the bloke and if he stays fit, he’ll be our best defender by some distance within a year IMO.

I’m just using Hwang because his stats have been similar but almost nobody would keep him here.

The Championship goals are well and good but IMO don’t translate to the Prem and I don’t see him offering us anything we don’t already have in Jørgen.

Like I say, he’s not bad, but neither would I want him in a PL squad.

I know the bidding war thing has become a bit of a meme on here but when there are this many big European teams interested we'd be daft not to hang on for as much money as possible, especially considering how much he cost in the first place. It's not like Guedes who I imagine didn't have too many suitors. It's been reported that the transfer is being handled by Gestifute as well so it might be that we've already negotiated a minimum fee with them and we have very little to do with these negotiations.

He's also done nothing for us to deserve any kind of respect during this process. You could make a case with guys like Aït-Nouri, Neves and Jota that they had performed well, had earned the chance to make the next step and we'd have been out of order to stand in their way. Not the case with this idiot. If he had got his head down and shown a bit of pride during the last 5 (FIVE!) years we might be inclined to accept a slightly lower bid from a club of his preference.
