The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

We know why he's posted it, the blokes a tit..

Because tree things:
Girona played vs Wolves in pre-season.
Rayo have one good RWB: Ratiu
And because Wolves start today the seasson and are many position to fill. And all new player need a period of adaptation in the new team. And if you don't see those players in a few games, you don't have the option to rectify and sign another one.

Like Celta, they sign Radu a GK, but not have a lot confidence, and now are trying sign other and sell Villar to solve that bad movement.

The urgency to cover that positions of Semedo, Guedes/Sarabia, Doyle, and one defense. Delaying those decisions its possible force Wolves to go to the winter market, and that not is a good start.

About Juanlu, this week solve if Napoli sign he or not.

It's easy to explain without any disrespect

Yeah, I don't think VP sees Doc as an option at RWB, and rightly so. Lima is still a project. Personally I'd prefer to see Rodrigo further forward and used as an attacking option in the front 3 rather than RWB, but appreciate that is probably not how VP sees him. Which leaves Hoever as the only realistic choice, for better, or more likely, for worse.
Yeah, pretty much this. Quality sucks but it's an indictment on the club than anything. And puts heaps of pressure on Tchatchoua fitting in immediately.

Why do I suddenly want Ki-Jana to have 15 goal contributions and 0 duels lost this season??

I think my contrarianism may be clinical.

I think we’d all like that to happen

And Now, one important thing:

Getafe: 13 players ok to play vs Celta and 2 injured, they can't register new players until they sell a top-tier player.

Time to move.

On Thursday, August 14, Ángel Torres lamented selling "one of the best center-backs in La Liga for peanuts," referring to the Paraguayan Omar Alderete. A few days ago, he also confessed that he would "inevitably" have to make a sale if he wanted to comply with financial fair play and be able to make any signings.

Well, according to journalist Gemma Santos, that "inevitable" sale the president of Getafe was referring to was that of Christantus Uche. One of the most prolific midfielders, not only in the blue team but in the Spanish league in general. His numbers from last season speak for themselves: four goals and another six assists.

To this, it should be added that there are only two weeks left before the transfer market closes (if his departure were made official today). Therefore, the sporting management would have very little time to find a replacement for the Nigerian. The only good news is that Borja Mayoral will stay at the Coliseum, despite receiving a tempting offer from Mexican side Rayados.
